Why do we exist?
Whether it's food, drinks or personal care products. Marketing makes it easy to reassure you without actually explaining anything. Just because something is legally allowed doesn't mean it's inherently good.
Those who take the time to read what's on the back of products discover that most ingredients aren't explained. Names without context. Functions without clarification. And once you see it, you can't ignore it anymore.
That's how we came to be. Not out of distrust, but from the need for clarity. For choices that are explained, so you can decide for yourself.
Origin
Why are our products made in Bali?
Bali and its surroundings offer direct access to high-quality natural raw materials, such as coconut oil, essential oils and natural clay. Our products are handcrafted there, in accordance with European cosmetics legislation (EU Regulation 1223/2009).
The location is not a story, but a consequence of ingredients, knowledge and control.

What makes La Fuente Mía different?
Every ingredient is fully published with INCI name and function. We also publish a NO-list with everything that doesn't go into our products.
No vague promises. No fine print. Everything is open and available to read.

Full INCI transparency
All ingredients are published with official INCI nomenclature and a functional explanation. No hidden substances, no vague collective names.

A public list of ingredients we don't use under any circumstances: sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance, palm oil, silicones and PEGs.

EU Cosmetics Regulation
All products comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009. Produced in Indonesia, regulated according to European standards.
